VIDEO SUMMARY
-
Best decision he's made as a business owner; firm has grown fast, financially and operationally
-
Biggest value: accountability, clarity to lead, and systems so the firm doesn't depend on him
-
Recommends it to any CEO wanting growth and a supportive community
My name is Abraham Benhayoun and I'm the CEO and owner of the Law Offices of Abraham Benhayoun. We're an immigration law practice.
I've been a member of Leading Peers for about two years.
I can tell you that it's been the best decision I've ever made for myself as a business owner.
Since I joined Leading Peers, my firm has grown extraordinarily, not just financially, but also in the processes and in the way that we function as a law firm. We're on track to hit numbers that honestly, I didn't know were possible, at least this quickly, and I have Leading Peers to thank for that.
Leading Peers’ most valuable contribution to my firm has been the accountability it's given me and the clarity to lead as a business owner. As lawyers, you're trained to work and look hard at cases, but you're not really trained to grow businesses. So that's where Leading Peers came in for me and that's the value that it added.
The most powerful effect Leading Peers has had on me is, again, becoming a better CEO, a great CEO, and leader. It's given me the accountability and helped me create processes and systems so that we have a firm that is not heavily reliant on just me and everything comes back to me, but rather having systems, processes, people, and being able to scale and grow that business in a way that's more profitable and better and we can accomplish more, help more people and everyone's happier.
I would strongly recommend Leading Peers to any business owner or CEO that feels that their business can do more, can be bigger and better, but they don't have the accountability or the systems in place that can help them achieve those goals. Leading Peers gives you a set of goals but also accountability. They ground you as a CEO.
Being a business owner can be lonely and Leading Peers gives you that support system that I can tell you firsthand for me was invaluable. So, I would recommend it strongly for any business owner.
I guess another thing that I would add, one final note, is that Leading Peers aside from being growth oriented and looking and accomplishing business growth and developing and sharpening CEO skills and leadership skills, it's really a community. You get to know people very intimately and help each other out with that business growth mentality.
So, I would say Leading Peers is a community in that sense.

VIDEO SUMMARY
-
Three-year member and Advisory Board member; credits Leading Peers with a major pivot from business coach to running a family advisory firm
-
Biggest value: mindset, growth, and a board of CEO peers who challenge him in productive ways; a safe space for vulnerable conversations
-
Three benefits: an accountability board, thought-provoking education, and networking with growth-oriented CEOs
My name is Franck Saragossi. I'm CEO of Focus Forward Management. We work with family businesses to help them grow, unlock value and help them in their transition.
I've been a member for about 3 years, met Leo five years ago. I'm on his Advisory Board. I've been part of the secret sauce of Leading Peers, involved in it for a long time.
The growth of my business has been good. Actually, it's been instrumental in creating a pivot for me. So, before I was a business coach when I only marketed myself as that. And through Leading Peers, I've actually pivoted into a family advisory firm.
So, a lot more complex, a lot more offerings, a lot of different way of thinking of things. And that's thanks to Leading Peers.
The most valuable contribution of Leading Peers has been really more of a mindset. It's the ability to #1 grow, right?
Think of what, who I am, and how I need to improve and think outside the box. The ability to have a board of advisors, which is what the Leading Peers boards are and help you challenge you work through ideas to ultimately get to where you need to go.
And that's the value of it.
The most important factor of Leading Peers that has affected me as a leader has been to really thinking outside the box, challenging me in ways that are uncomfortable.
And that I think is the biggest value of having a board of really great professionals that are CEOs that understand what it's like to be somewhat lonely, things that you can talk about in Leading Peers on the business side, sometimes you don't feel comfortable speaking at home about because it may be uncomfortable. There's a little bit of uncertainty. So that's a vulnerability.
That's what the biggest contribution is that to me as a leader, Leading peers is an ideal fit for any CEO that wants to grow, that is willing to be open and honest and vulnerable and wants to have a sounding board not only for ideas, but also to challenge them and to find new ways for them to grow.
What people will get out of Leading Peers are three things. Number one is an accountability board, a board that is going to help them validate ideas that they have and challenge them on what they present.
Number two is fantastic education. The educational programs that are presented are thought provoking, relevant to what you need not only to run your business, but also to think about yourself in all areas as a leader, whether it be as your personal relationship, your health, what you should be reading, all of these. That's a second pillar.
And the third pillar is really networking, finding people that are of the same mindsets, growth-oriented CEOs, growing the businesses.
Those are the three things that are really valuable for any CEO.

Update
So, I am Michelle Molina and I'm Co-founder of M3 Roofing where we do residential and commercial roofs and roof repairs throughout South Florida.
I have been a member of Leading Peers for a year now.
Since joining Leading Peers, the most tangible way that I've grown my business is in the understanding of my numbers and then to be able to implement that to grow my profits and then make sure that jobs are coming in, in, you know, within the profit margin that we're looking for.
So that's the most tangible way.
The most valuable contribution of Leading Peers to my company has been in first in an intangible way that it's grown me as a leader, because as a leader, I've always been looking for a group of individuals that are like-minded, that have a growth mindset that they can be vulnerable.
They can talk about really the hard stuff, and they can ask you the hard questions.
So, then you can look inside and make sure that you're leading in the best way possible.
And then the tangible way is, you know, there was there was something happening in my business where clients weren't selling and numbers were off.
And so, in my group asking me the most hard questions, I was able to discover that my estimating was wrong, the proposals were wrong.
And once I was able to change that, then I was able to sign more clients and, you know, have more profits and, and do things like that.
My biggest growth as a leader that has happened since joining Leading Peers is that I have been able to think big picture.
I always tell my team I was like, I don't like excuses. There's always find a way.
One of our core values in the company is a spirit of excellence. But who checks the leader, right?
And so, my group in Leading Peers has been able to check me.
They've been able to ask me the certain questions where I realized that I was thinking very small and stuck in my own little world.
So, this group has helped me to come out of that cycle that I'm in so that I can look at my business from a from a perspective, from a different perspective.
And so, then that has transformed me as a leader to think bigger.
I would strongly recommend Leading Peers to any CEO that is looking to grow, that is looking to have those hard conversations that they know that's they want more or that there is bigger for their company.
They just don't know where to find the answer or they don't have the right people in their lives that can support them through that. So, you know, that's the perfect person for leading peers.
One thing that I'd love to add, you know, for Leading Peers is come ready to be vulnerable, right? Come ready to connect and share what it is that's going on.
What’s exactly going on in your business? Because in that room on in that table is where these other business owners where they're from experience or a connection that they have are able to then help you breakthrough to those ideas that you may have.
